Random thoughts about name changing

Hello fellow bloggers!! So, I was thinking about changing my blog name to F.L.A.P. Flap stands for faith, love, and peace. I was also thinking about changing my name according to the seasons. For example, Sunshine in the summer, icy in the winter, etc.
Just a thought!!

My Saturday

My Saturday began with me getting up eating breakfast, Cheerios. After that I cleaned my room and went to pick up my sister from a friends house. It was my sister's birthday so she was very happy and excited. As she got in the car, she gave me a REALLY sour piece of gum. My face was frozen for about 2 minutes, still recovering from the taste. We then went to Eddie's Bakery to pick up my sister's birthday cake. While we were there I bought a couple sprinkled, chocolate thumbprints. They were AWESOME! After that we dropped my sister off at home and then went to Target to get her a birthday present, Just Dance ( a Wii game), a Glee CD, and a poster. We got home and hung out for a while. I attempted to teach my dog how to "shake", but it was hopeless. A few hours past and people started to come over in honor of my sister's birthday and an early mothers day. We ate Chinese food for dinner and had chocolate cake for dessert. Then we ended up playing Just Dance for about an hour and then people started to leave. To end the day I put on my Pajamas and went to bed.

The Total Tragedy of a Girl named Hamlet

The Total Tragedy of a Girl named Hamlet written by Erin Dionne and is 290 pages long is filled with excitement, drama, and Shakespeare. The main character, 8th grade Hamlet, has to help her genius little sister Dezzie survive 8th grade too. The main antagonists are Saber and Mauri. They are the ones that delude Dezzie into thinking they are her friends when really the just wanted to use her for her smarts. To top off all of that, some secret admirer is stuffing origami pigs in Hamlet's locker. All of the parts in this novel are always very exciting. I definitely recommend this book to others because it is funny, dramatic, and just a fun read!

The Wanderer

The Wanderer, written by Sharon Creech is 305 pages long and is a story filled with excitement, laughter, and adventure. The main characters in this story are Brian, Uncle Mo, Uncle Dock, Uncle Stew, and Cody and Sophie, the main protagonists. These people left their homes and set sail on a journey like no other. They went from Kentucky all the way to England to see Grandpa Bompie, on a boat named, The Wanderer. On the boat everyone had to teach everyone else something that they knew. While all of the Uncles are teaching things about steering and maintaining a boat, Brian is teaching points of sail, Cody is teaching juggling, and Sophie is telling stories about Grandpa Bompie. I can make a text to text relation to a book I've read called Charlotte Doyle.
Sharon Creech's wonderfully written book, The Wanderer can be connected to a well-written book by the name of Charlotte Doyle. I can connect to this other book because Sophie is new at sea and isn't sure what the whole new experiance is going to be like. Charlotte, in Charlotte Doyle is new at sea too. Also Sophie is surrounded by men and is the only girl aboard the boat. Charlotte is the only girl on the boat as well. The last similarity I'll make is that both girls have more than one side to themselves. For instance one side is dreamy and romantic, another is logical and down-to-earth, and the last one is hardheaded and impulsive. This book, The Wanderer is a fun read and I definitely recommend it to others.
